Thu, January 4, 2007 - 11:08 PMoooooh, hold on now. You cannot tell me a clean, uncrowded pool does not feel out of this world fantastic after a day and night at Coachella. I would never give up a soft bed and pool to plunge into the next day. floating under the hot sun! That is too special for me to give up. You can keep tent city. But I do admit the commute to the tents is better! -

Re: sleeping at coachella
Sat, January 6, 2007 - 3:42 PMIt's really a matter of your comfort level; are you a light or heavy sleeper, and are you okay with maybe not getting a good night's sleep? are you okay with sleeping in a tent in a crowded area, where it may be noisy? will you have a problem waiting in line to use the restroom or shower? Also, it can get rather hot as soon as the sun comes up..
If your'e okay with all of that stuff, and are pretty easy going, I'd camp out for sure..plus it's way cheap. It can be quite fun, just don't expect peace and quiet and solitude.
I don't know if I'd personally do it again (It think it depends on who I'd be going with) But then again, I won't be able to go this year period because I'll be ready to have a baby about that time...
